He serves as the lead instructor for the Children’s Program, where he is dedicated to developing strong fundamentals, discipline, confidence, and respect in the next generation of martial artists. In addition, he assists with the Adult Program and plays a key role in the dojo’s Self-Defense classes, helping students of all ages build practical skills and confidence.
Beyond his Kyokushin training, Sensei Ted has spent many years studying and educating himself in self-defense concepts, martial arts systems, and body mechanics. His professional experience as a Security Officer further strengthened his understanding of situational awareness, personal protection, conflict management, and real-world self-defense applications. This combination of practical experience and martial arts training allows him to provide students with valuable insights that extend beyond the dojo.
